🎓The faculty and staff in the JH/HS building hosted their annual Senior Breakfast yesterday, providing a meal for the Class of 2026! Students had the opportunity to open the time capsules they created in 9th grade, share laughs and memories, and then hold graduation rehearsal in preparation for Sunday. #WolverineWay

A big thank you to Sanford Hospital in Sheldon for welcoming our 3rd graders! Students had a wonderful time learning more about hospitals, healthcare workers, and all the ways people help care for others.

Today we celebrate the South O’Brien Preschool Class of 2026! 🎓

What an amazing year of learning, growing, and making memories together. From reading and writing to math, science, and friendship, these little learners have accomplished so much. We are so proud of all they’ve achieved!

Morning preschool graduation will begin at 10:30 and afternoon preschool graduation will begin at 2:15. We can't wait to celebrate with our graduates and their families!

Mrs. Yount and Mrs. Struve’s classes teamed up for Buddy Groups to spread some positivity! The students collaborated on inspiring sidewalk chalk messages, showcasing both their teamwork and their impressive creative artwork.

Elementary students in grades K-6th identified as High Ability Learners (HALS) or as Gifted & Talented (TAG) participated in the annual TAG EXPO on May 7th. The EXPO is a showcase featuring projects and research done by students throughout the school year. Each display demonstrations the hard work, investigation, and application of skills learned throughout their project discovery. Congratulations to all of these students on their achievements.

🎶 The South O'Brien High School Band and Choir participated in the IHSMA Large Group Festival on Friday, May 8 hosted by MOC-FV High School in Orange City.

Both ensembles performed very well and both ensembles received a Division I (Superior) rating from the panel of judges. Congratulations!

Your last opportunity to hear these amazing students will be at the Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 17 at 2PM.
