6th grade enjoyed reading their novel outside to enjoy the beautiful weather!

The 2nd graders enjoyed touring the Iowa State Bank in Paullina! They learned about the different jobs at the bank, and the importance of saving money.

Brynlee Stoll, Jaxtan Wester, Rory Gum, and Cole Erdmann represented South O'Brien at the Northwestern College 7th Grade Math Bee on Thursday April 16th. As a team, they placed 9th overall out of 50 teams.
🥉In the actual Team Round they placed 3rd out of the 50 teams!
🏅Rory finished in 8th place out of 240 as an Individual on the day!

The PeeWee Paws and Little Paws Preschool students enjoyed their spring field trip to Kinderzone! It was a wonderful opportunity for them to take a break from their daily routine and explore a fun, new environment through play. After reading "Stuck" by Oliver Jeffers, our kindergarteners went on a scavenger hunt to find all the "stuck" items Floyd threw into the tree. Thankfully, we didn't have to throw a whale or a fire engine up there to get them back! Kindergarten loved this fun read aloud.

Our preschool playground is officially open! 🎉 Our preschoolers have already had a great time enjoying the new swings, and it’s been so fun to see their excitement.

The first-grade students have been mastering the art of telling time to the hour and half-hour. To reinforce these skills, the class participated in a telling time matching game, turning their hard work into an engaging, hands-on activity.
