Science Fair 2017


Family Literacy Night at the Elementary School is almost here!  February 28 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Come Have A Ball With Reading and join in the fun of games, reading activities, refreshments, and guest speaker Coach Ryan Sloth.  More information will be coming home soon.

2017 Science Fair was Thursday, Feb 9.

Congratulations and Good Luck to Luke Jenness! The Sheldon/South O’Brien sophomore won the 182-pound championship at the Class 2A district wrestling tournament in Spencer Sat, Feb 11. He moves on to the State Wrestling Tournament, Feb 16-18 in Des Moines.

Congratulations to South O’Brien basketball players named to All-Conference teams: Carson Louscher and Shelby Schueder 2nd Team and Taryn Hintz honorable mention.

Academic achievement is South O’Brien’s top priority, but it is also believed that extracurricular involvement will grow each individual beyond the learning in the classroom. Learn more …

What’s New

Registration for Little Paws Preschool for 4-year-olds will be Tuesday, March 7 at 5:00 pm at the elementary building in Primghar. Children must turn four by September 15, 2017 in order to attend Little Paws Preschool. Little Paws Preschool uses Creative Curriculum, a research-based early childhood curriculum, which utilizes a hands-on approach.
