The first grade classes have spent the month of April learning about chicks and hatching eggs in their classrooms. Michele from the Iowa Extension office taught them all about the parts of an egg, how to candle an egg, setting up a cage and taking care of chicks. They will stay in the classrooms for a few more days before they get to go to a farm and live their best lives!

6th graders took on a fun and challenging team activity this week! 🧩 Each group worked together to complete a puzzle as quickly as possible. They practiced communication skills, collaboration, problem-solving, patience, and encouragement!

At our April PBIS Assembly we celebrated our hard-working students! We honored those who earned a Positive Office Referral and held our drawing for Student of the Month—huge congratulations to Addisyn! 👏 To reward consistent good behavior throughout the 4th quarter, students were treated to a popcorn bar and a movie in their classrooms.
2nd graders performed the readers theater "Let’s Get Growing!" for their peers! They did a wonderful job using expression, confidence, and teamwork to bring the story to life.
