During library class Mrs. Harper's class was all about the "dirt life!" We read the adorable story Roy Digs Dirt by David Shannon, and if there’s one thing we learned, it’s that Roy loves dirt because it makes him happy. We decided we wanted to share in that happiness, too! To channel our inner Roy, we decorated our own "Happy Face" cups, got our hands a little dirty and planted some grass seed. Check out these proud little gardeners and their new green buddies! It was fun to see the "hair" grow!

Mrs. Anna’s preschoolers love doing the “Tooty Ta” as a fun brain break!

This spring, 5th grade students went to Dordt University for their AgVestigations Day. The day featured activities like games with prizes, educational livestock and plant displays, demonstrations, tours, a petting zoo, and hands-on agricultural lessons. We spent the morning at Dordt, and then stopped at a playground in Sioux Center for a spring picnic and some free time in the park. Students had a great time learning and making memories together!
