Mission: Our mission is to prepare students to be responsible citizens and lifelong learners.
My name is Noah DeYager. I started teaching here at South O’Brien during the 2009-10 school year. Before I began teaching I worked in a few different businesses in sales and marketing roles. The majority of my prior work experience comes from my family’s business at the Foreign Candy Company in Hull, Ia. Most recently, my title was Fundraising Marketing Manager. However, I worked in nearly every department of the company since I was 17. After a few years leading youth group at my church, I felt God calling me to become a high school teacher. So I went back to school and obtained my teaching license. I love teaching business classes here at South O’Brien. I have been coaching boys’ golf since 2012.
I’ve been happily married to my wife, Susan since 2005. I have three children; Talan, Ashton, and Mylee. My family is very important to me. They encourage and support me everyday. Without my wife’s encouragement, I’m not certain I would have realized my passion for teaching. My children bring excitement to my life and make me smile everyday.
